Bones & Folklore

300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program

With Danielle Dulsky

Registered Yoga School

“Deep inside the wilds of our mythic memory stands a house made of bones, a hidden dwelling full of folklore, mystery, and song. If we dare to haunt this hallowed place for a time, we find an eternal fire, a handmade hearth tended well by our ancestors, a lost altar where we gather to speak of forbidden things, to pray with our bodies, to breathe, and to remember why we were born here and now, to this time and place.”

- Danielle Dulsky -

The Bones & Folklore 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) is an otherworldly journey into the haunted woodlands of storytelling, body-prayer, archetypal embodiment, and ritual. Here, every student-teacher is a wilderness guide, a facilitator who creates an experience, a story for their students to transform in the space between a once-upon-atime and ever-after.

This is an intensive, virtual training spanning 9 moons, between March and November of 2025. It is fully accredited by Yoga Alliance as a 300-Hour YTT. The curriculum is structured into both prerecorded and live virtual lessons. We offer dual enrollment with the House of Night Ritual Facilitator Training which includes an in-person immersion.

Program Structure Overview

Bones & Folklore is the only accredited 300-hour YTT that combines the enchantments of storytelling with yogic principles and subtle body anatomy. Participants learn to create and hold spaces for others to engage in archetypal embodiment, story-tending, seership, and transformational ceremonies. This training was crafted by storyteller, published author, witch, and E-RYT500 Danielle Dulsky. Danielle is the lead trainer for this program, and participants work directly with her to hone their teaching practice.

There are 3 modules in the Bones & Folklore training, and each module spans approximately 3 months. The spring module is the “New Moon Rasa,” the summer module is the “Full Moon Rasa,” and the autumn module is the “Dark Moon Rasa.” The first and last month of each module is marked by a live immersion. These are held on Saturdays between the hours of 10am and 3pm ET. There are six, live immersions total throughout the course of the program. In addition to the live immersions, participants must complete the prerecorded lessons on a monthly basis. Please see below for more details on the schedule and structure for the 2025 program.

“We are the Living Poetry of Revolution…

…We are the Ancient Songs of Lost Ritual and Heathen Forest Ceremonies.”

Prerequisites

This is an advanced YTT program that trains participants to weave breath and movement, including yogic asana sequences and body prayer, together with storytelling and ceremony. While Bones & Folklore can be taken for personal development purposes, it is a professional training with strong standards in place. By extension, some prerequisites ensure registrants can ethically and safely hold space for others when they transmit the curriculum to their people (1) and complete the training as it is structured (2).

Bones & Folklore for Personal and Professional Development

You may enroll in this program for personal and professional development purposes outside of traditional yoga teaching. While it is not required that registrants are actively teaching yoga, a personal yoga practice is required. It is recommended that applicants have practiced yoga for at least 5 years if they do not hold their basic, 200-hour yoga teaching certification. Upon completion of Bones & Folklore, you will be a certified yoga teacher at the 300-hour level through The Hag School and Living Mandala Yoga LLC. If you desire to be a registered yoga teacher (RYT) through Yoga Alliance, please see below.

Bones & Folklore for Yoga Teachers

If you are a yoga teacher pursuing the Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) 500 credential, you must have completed your foundational, 200-Hour program from a Yoga Alliance accredited school before enrolling in Bones & Folklore. Once you receive your Bones & Folklore certificate in December of 2025, you will then be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as an RYT500 as long as you hold your 200-hour certificate from another accredited program and meet their other criteria. Yoga Alliance requires you complete your 200-hour program before enrolling in a 300-hour program if you are pursuing your RYT500 credential.

For All Applicants

Please review the 2025 schedule and only apply if you feel you can reasonably attend 50% of the live immersion hours and reasonably allocate 6-7 hours per week to the prerecorded lessons between March and November of 2025. While all immersions are recorded for the participants’ future reference, this is not a “catch-the-recordings” training and some live participation in the virtual immersions is required. In the event a participant cannot complete all three modules in a single year due to a family or health emergency, they may be eligible to complete the program the following year. This will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Tuition fees are non-refundable unless the program is cancelled by The Hag School, Living Mandala Yoga, and/or Danielle Dulsky. Please see our complete policies HERE.

Please read our FAQs, before reaching out via email with program inquiries.

“We house the memory of stars under our skin. To embody the Holy Wild is to be mused by the moment and marked by the once-and-future hymns of the elements, the ancestors, and the eternal unseen. Our art is the cosmic expressing the cosmic, the primordial infinite coming into form through our voice and our vision, our music, our weaving, and our dance.”

  • “I traveled to Danielle from Michigan and I would do it a thousand times over again. The journey that has re-ignited for me has no words to be able to describe it to the next generation of her students, but I will give it a try. My heart is leaping with the joy that I’ve rediscovered through the empowerment to stand fully in my Self on my soul path alongside the full embrace of the loving Goddess energies that came through via the space provided to me in Danielle’s crafted circles. It has been completely revolutionary, a life changing moment that makes me smile every time I now feel the recognized strength running through my veins. I’m forever grateful that she and her classes exist and for her support in saying you’ve got this!”

    Tara, Michigan, 300-hourgraduate

  • “I originally signed up for Danielle’s 200 hour teacher training to deepen my yoga practice. It turned out to be a life changing experience. Not only did I become a yoga instructor but through Danielle’s deep soul guidance I discovered facets and parts of myself that I had no idea even existed. In January 2017, after completing my 200 hour RYT training I began my 300 hour hour intensive training. This training exceeded my expectations by a million. I feel completely grounded in my yoga teaching and practice but more importantly I feel I deep soul connection with myself. The soul circle work, the yoga practices, the sharing with a beautiful group of women who are now sisters, brought me deeply into an understanding of my soul and my place in the world. I extend a deep bow of gratitude to Danielle for lighting my path.”

Tracey, Phoenixville PA, 200 and 300 hour graduate

  • "I could not have made the changes that I see in myself today, without the assistance of Danielle, her ingenious way of teaching body oriented processing and the many amazing women I met along the way that now have a piece of my heart. Beware: This is not asana-only yoga teacher training. Danielle will walk alongside you as you discover your own Eight Limbed path to freeing yourself from whatever keeps you yoked to suffering and Avidya. If you are looking for complete transformation physically, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually — this is the yoga teacher training for you.”

Suzanne Fisher, MSW, LCSW, RYT-500, Phoenixville, PA, 200 and 300-hour graduate

  • “I have to pay homage to Danielle Dulsky, the wild wolf woman who demonstrated to me the difference between spirit and soul. I admire her ferocity and strength, her unapologetic authenticity and magic, not just as a yoga teacher, but as a woman pioneering what it means to be soulfully embodied in the world. Danielle didn’t just teach me, she showed me through her own glorious example. She held space for me to recognize my own magic and gently blew on my smoldering ashes until I was re-ignited. She is the example of an empowered woman that I’ve been searching for - a guide into my own fierce femininity, coaching me through learning to own the Divine rights of my fleshy existence. You have moved mountains for the women of the world, Danielle, and I am eternally grateful.”

    Nancy, Hatfield PA, 300-hour graduate

  • “I have been following Danielle’s writing for a while and always felt inspired. But upon entering a “dark night of the soul,” I felt called to go deeper into her advanced teacher training and it is like nothing else out there. Powerful, authentic and true medicine for the body, mind, heart, spirit and soul. I feel so blessed to be learning from and growing with Danielle and the amazing circle of women also called to this work at this time.”

    Bekah, Los Angeles, CA,300-hour Graduate
